i had just got done playing a game, i started browsing the web. was browsing for about 5mins then computer just rebooted. i know it was a bsod because there is a minidump. (i havent changed any settings in the startup recover until now) before it was still set to automatically restart, i just changed it.

what can i use to open the dump? its a .dmp

here is the file attached, i had to name it bmp to let me upload it. just erase the bmp part and leave the dmp. can someone tell me what the error is thanks

only errors i can find in that are ones where i had a application freeze and i ended it

I did specify in the #2 post the 4 most recent. If you right click on the error message and select Properties you can get a description of each error message.

srry, forgot, the 4 most recents are errors from remote desktop cause i had telephony service disabled, thats what most of those were, i fixed that

no, thats just what all the error messages were, i fixed that problem. i havent had any more crashes though

Could I have all the minidumps in the minidump folder for the past month.

So we can run them though windows Debuging utility. Please put them into a .zip file.

the only dump i have is the one attached at the top. download it and rename taking the .bmp off and thats the file

To get the Minidumps do the following

1 > create a new folder on the desktop and call it "dumpcheck" or whatever you like
2 > navigate to %systemroot%\minidump and copy the last few minidump files to that folder.%systemroot% is normally c:\windows. They are numbered by date. You can paste that address in address bar to get there.
3 > close the folder and right click on it and select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder. Please do NOT compress them in .rar
4 > use the "add reply" option upload that zip file here as an attachment.

This error condition means that a kernel-mode process or driver tried to access a memory location to which it did not have permission, or at a kernel Interrupt ReQuest Level (IRQL) that was too high. (A kernel-mode process can access only other processes that have an IRQL lower than, or equal to, its own.) Typically due to a bad driver, or faulty or incompatible hardware or software

You are also getting 0x000000EA: THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER Probibly caused by n4_mini.sys
A device driver problem has caused the system to pause indefinitely (hang). Typically, this is caused by a display driver waiting for the video hardware to enter an idle state. This might indicate a hardware problem with the video adapter, or a faulty video driver.


First thing I would try doing is uploading your video drivers.

Then I would test your Hard drive using HDTune
