Hey, the other day log in was slow and I was unable to open any of my programs. I restarted a couple of times and disabled my wireless connection. I kept restarting and it got worse and worse so it eventually froze at login. So I restarted in Safe Mode and an administrative account called Ctown showed up and was password protected. I was given the option to restore to a week ago and I did. So the programs work now, but I have not reconnected to the internet and the Ctown account is still there. It does not show up under User Accounts but only if I go to My Computer>Properties>Advanced>User Profile Settings. I was able to delete the account there in Safe Mode as well as normal boot up but everytime I restart in Safe Mode it is still there. The account never shows up in normal boot up but everytime in Safe Mode. So I also went to Computer Management>Local Users and Groups and tried to delete it through there but it would not let me saying that it was a built in account. I was able to disable the account and then it would not show up in Safe Mode, but I want to remove it. Wondering if anyone knows what the Ctown account is, why it's there, and how to get rid of it. Thanks - Nate(ctown)
