Ok, my friend installed WOW on his machine, and his video driver immediately went out the window. He has green lines-dots throughout the entire display.

So, I told him to uninstall WOW. no dice
I uninstalled his video driver via remote desktop. that fixed the problem..
I installed the newest nvidia driver. no dice, problem came back.
uninstalled that driver, fixed the problem again
installed an Older version of the driver, again no dice

also tried restore point, no dice
also tried reinstalling directX9, again, no dice.

I'm out of ideas. My friend needs his computer.

Your input is appreciated.
