On starting my PC today I got a message from Ad-watch SE Pro asking that some program was trying to change a registry entry. I clicked no te the promt. I think one of the entries ended with 1%

Now my problem is that none of my softaware programs work, they all show this unkown icon. I basicly can not use anything not even word. The only that works is my documents and the internet. I think I might have prevented programs from loading, on start up.

I tried system restore from Safe Mode but all the same, I can even use msconfig or any other comand. I am stuck no idea what to do.

Can anyone help please?

thank you jz

Assuming AD-Watch SE pro is an spyware scanning software, this might mean that one of the files you "quarentined" in a scan might have contained a file used to run certain programs. What I would suggest doing is going into AD-Watch SE and open the recently quarentiened files, and releasing them. Yes, this will put the spyware back out, but it will put the needed file out as well.

If you made the scan and deleted all the files that it found, that could be bad. Unless the program has a way of retreiving deleted files, this can be a whole different story.

just as a test.

Right click on your desktop, choose NEW > text document
name it temp.bat

Right click, choose EDIT
it will open in notepad
type explorer.exe
File > Save

Double click...does Explorer open?
