Cant view hidden folders

I when to clear a old folder the other day, and it says i have two hidden folders in it
I when to make the folders appear by going to tools>options>click the box that says show hidden folders

But its not there

Here are the options i get and they dont help me
Some on help me!!!

The pics are around the wrong way but you get the picture!

Hi rockamania2005!

Try the vbs script file at Kelly's Korner. The one you need to download and then run is number 155 on the left column labeled Enable/Disable Show Hidden Files/Folders.

Please post back on whether or not Show Hidden Files/Folder option is now listed.

*EDIT* -- You can always right-click the link and choose Copy Link Location or Copy Shortcut depending on the browser you are using, and then just paste it in the Address Bar.

I have downloaded it and Double clicked on it and says some thing about this will not harm your computer and now i have the file still on desktop and a hidden file on the desktop called HELPME.GID
and yet i still view hidden folders!

and i cant even turn on and off about viewing hidden stuff!
