Every time I receive an email a file is copied to the root of my c/drive.
This happens no matter whether I download the mail in Outlook or Outlook Express.
If I open the file in notepad it is the email and properties.
The files have names like S3892g.
As I get abot 200 emails a day, so 200 files appear in C:/
(I delete them every day)
What is happening and how can I stop it?
I hope someone can help!
Regards, Peter

Open outlook express > tools > options > maintanance > store folder. What is the folder in which the mails are stored? It should be in: C:\Documents and Settings\user name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{DE72A0C9-5F84-481A-A09F-3115C0F93908}\Microsoft\Outlook Express.
