My bios video configuration agp aperature is 256 mb max.
is there a bios with a 512 agp aperature?

The maximum size of the aperature available is determined by the support of the board. Therefore just flashing any old BIOS will not work.
In any case this setting is a source of mixed debate on what it should be set to in the first place - some say set it to the amount of memory in the computer, others to 64 regardless, others to the size of the memory on the card. I usually set it to the size of the memory on the card.
