I'm running verion 1.97.7 and it freezes everytime I scan.
During or at the end of scanning it freezes up.
CTRL+ALT+DELETE is the only way to shut it down.

Ideas anyone.

My system is very clean.
I run spybot, defrag etc all the time..no virus'
win 98se 256 ram PIII600.

There is a variant of the Coolwebsearch trojan spreading that closes several anti-spyware apps when you try to open them.
If this is happening to you, download PepiMK's CoolWWWSearch.SmartKiller removal tool first and run it. After it does its job, CWShredder and HijackThis will run properly (as well Spybot S&D, Ad-aware and several anti-spyware forums).

Comes up clean and I still freezes.
Just tried it on my daughter's puta and it freezes too.
I think I need to DL another copy of it.

Wait...how long does it take to scan ?

Should only take seconds. Sounds like you have a corrupted download.

Ah I see what threw me. It takes about 1 minute on my system,
and there is no visual indication that it's still scanning.
Anyway, will still DL another version just to see if the speed changes.

Nice program, cleans the system well.
But now I have this spooky problem on my daughter's puta, will be posting soon on that one. Got me majorly stumped
