Outlook Express 6.0 Problem

I had a severe virus attack back in February. I backed up all my data, including my OE 6 addressbook and messages. Since then I reloaded all my software, added SP2 and some spyware and have been using Earthlink's Webmail. Today I installed Outlook Express 6.0 and moved my messages from Webmail to OE.

I was able to restore my OE addressbook from my backup CD, but I have not been able to restore my OE messages. I get an error message that says either there are no messages in that folder or they are in use. Both wrong.

Can anyone help?
