computer wont boot

hello all i have a problem when i start my computer it goes straight to a black screen with p/n133-pc2502-06b the fans are working the cd drives are working i just fifure it out i have a dell dimension 9100 100 gig hd a gig of ram dual core cpu running windows xp pro

Does your computer have a series of beeps on startup?
The reason I ask is that if the netbios is having a problem it has a series of coded beeps to tell you what is wrong. For more information go here.

This might sound redundant but is your monitor fully plugged in? It might have slipped out do to recent movement of the Case.

Does anything happen before the black screen?

no nothing happens before the black screen it goes straight to the screen with the numbers on it

So all it says is "p/n133-pc2502-06b"? Does anything at all show up before that? Even for a split second?
