Hello,

I currently have the Service pack 2 firewall for XP professional. Would it be better for me to have another progrma like Zone Alarm, or Comodo?

If so, how do I turn off the service pack 2 firewall so that I dont have two firewalls on at the same time.

Unless, it is ok to have two firwewalls on at the same time. Is this ok to do?

Two firewalls running can conflict

The XP Firewall only checks incoming data

Third party firewalls usually check incoming and outging data

Either ZA or Comodo should disable the XP firewall during installation

I second that. I would go with Zone Alarm if I were you.

Comodo would be a better bet, but it appears that you already have the answer you seek.
