Been running OK since that fix was downloaded and run automatically from Norton
Also seems faster since I did the things you specified



I still don't know what why or how they did it

BUT

I di notcie while that problem was going on that the NORTON Quarantine folder was rapidly filling and eating up my memory

It got to 4.1 gigs

Any clue How I can empty it or should I try and contact them

I don't actually use Norton but there must be a way of emptying the quarantine folder - have you checked Help within the program?
