I currently have an AMD Athlon 64 3800+ CPU with 3 GB of Kingston DDR2 667mhz RAM

My mobo will support the AMD Athlon X2 6000+ and I am thinking of getting it, but want to know if my current RAM will work OK.

I know that ideally you need 800mhz RAM but can I get away with my current RAM?

Thanks,

You can use 667 memory with the X2 6000, no problem.
