I'm sorry, please use this link:
'SpSeHjfix'

Rightclick a blank part of the desktop and select new folder, call it ‘spfix’.
Unzip the file into that folder.

Disconnect from the net and Close ALL OPEN PROGRAMS.
Run 'SpSeHjfix' and click on "Start Disinfection".
When it's finished it will reboot your computer to finish the cleaning process.
The tool creates a log of the fix which will appear in the folder.

If it doesn't find any of the SE files or any hidden reinstallers, it will say system clean and not go on to next stage.

Still, I don't see anything that gives me the idea you are having search.bootconf.

NDNuninstall6_38.exe file is the uninstaller for NewDotNet.

I'll check with my collegues for some fresh ideas. I'll post back asap.

My collegue thatman just gave me this hint.

Download Hoster
Unzip it to a convenient place and open the program.
Choose "Restore Original Hosts" and press "OK".
Close the program.

***

Temporarily turn off System Restore.
Go to start – rightclick this computer/my computer
Go to properties
Go to the tab system restore
Put a check to ’turn off system restore (on all drives).’
Press ‘apply’.

***

Download Pocket Killbox.
Unzip the files to a folder like c:\killbox\

Run Killbox (doubleclick Killbox.exe).

Run it, and click the radio button that says Delete a file on reboot. For each of the files in the box below, paste them one at a time into the full path of file to delete box and click the red circle with a white cross in it.

The program will ask you if you want to reboot; say No each time until the last one has been pasted in whereupon you should answer Yes.

Let the system reboot.

c:\windows\system32\default.css
C:\WINDOWS\FONTS\win.hta
C:\WINDOWS\NDNuninstall6_38.exe

It will prompt you to reboot, press the YES button.

***

Update your virusscanner and let it scan your computer.
Please post back here and let us know what happened.

Hey I think we got it.. I couldnt get hoster to allow me to click the button you wanted but killbox got it. I just keep getting pop ups now from spybot saying " spybot has detected an important registry entry that has been changed"

category:system startup global entry
change:value deleted
entry:Wyvern Works Adaway
Old data:C:\Program files\wyvernworks\Adaway2005

Then it gives you options to allow change or deny change

You didn't have that program in your earlier logs. Did you download it in the meantime?

I use firefox too, I can download hoster.zip just fine (from both links).

Do a search on your computer for the file. Open it using Notepad. Copy and paste it's content here please.
