Tried to reinstall my call of duty 2, but a bit after installshield wizard pops up it says 'Internal Failure Error 0x80040707'............... :whistling: although i didn't uninstall it properply because that wasnt working, i had just removed the the 'Activison' folder off program files and deleted all the activision registry keys .......soooooooo........................i screwed up plz :blink: me :help:

Your best be is to re-install it then uninstall it again.

If you get the same error the next time you try to uninstall it: try this.

For those who have this problem with cod2 or another application :whistling: ..........this how the solution

first download urself a copy of Window Installer Cleanup Utility

Install

Open the Program

It should tell u what applications are in the Installsield Database

If u see ur application that is not working there, then select and remove

done
