newsserver account set-up help please

I switched from comcast to bellsouthdsl(wifes urging) and now cannot get my nuthinbutnews server to work. The bellsouth server works fine. I have entered the correct user name and password and set it up exactly as I did with comcast. I have outlook express. Nothing that I know of has changed on my computer ( firewall, port is open etc.) Bellsouth support has been a waste. If you are looking for an isp with support, dont go there! The closest I have come to downloading headers has been the account name, password window popping up repeatedly.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Nuthinbut news has done everything they can. I do recccomend them.
