Okay i bought a interface a fast track pro, and when i record it's kinda crackly sometimes, I'm guessing it's cause my drivers not up to date so i go to the official site of M-audio and get the most recent up to date driver download it.
It finishes and then i go to install it and i get this from installshield????? the modifiy and repair arn't available to click only remove...and i need to click modify to update my driver....so I'm kinda stuck? Why's it doing this?

Uninstall it first. Once it is uninstalled then it should go straight into installation next time you launch the installer.

Yeah okay just did that and now, it did install but it won't connect to my interface....

So i wentinto device manager to see if it was hooked up and there is an exlamation mark by it and i went into the properties and it sais this

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

I've also gone into

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

and deleted upper and lower filters, uninstalled the driver reinstalled it and still i get this code 39 exclamation mark error....

Anything else i can do?
