Hello! I recently installed Windows Vista Professional on my Dell Inspiron E1505 Laptop and do not have any sound. I have worked with Dell to no avail and I am getting so frustrated. I saw a post regarding sound problems saying to locate the motherboard and download the correct driver, but I am not finding a driver for a laptop, I am only finding drivers for desktops. Does anybody know what else I can do or how to find the laptop drivers? I have a Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
Thanks for any advice.

If your version of Vista installed is the 32-bit version, you can download the sound driver HERE

If your version of Vista installed is the 64-bit version, you can download the sound driver HERE

They are EXE (Executable) files, so once you download them, just double-click them to run.

Thanks Fenor for the response, however, it did not fix my problem. Can you or anyone else think of a solution to this extremely frustrating problem? My husband has spent countless hours on the phone with Dell and we have tried everything. Thanks in advance for helping! P.S. I have the 32 bit version.
