Mouse periodically stops along with keyboard

When I jump into medal of honor allied assault, my mouse sometimes stops working along with my keyboard. Its like if I press forward, my character will continue to go forward until it feels like stopping. My mouse just doesn't turn when I want it to, it use to do this outside the game after I am done playing it that is. Now it just does it when I play Medal of Honor. I may need to clear off my computer, if it isn't a internal issue.
