I recently got a notebook with windows vista, its a dell inspiron e1705. I tried to run my guitar through it as ive done dozens of times on my old compaq and i can't get the sound to come through. The sound on the comp works, and the little bars that register sound on the microphone/line in screen move when i strum the guitar but the sound doesnt come thru. Windows Xp has a huge mixer menu with more volume controls but vista only has the 3 options (speakers, aplications windows sounds, and the digital output device.) any ideas?

Thanks! :whistling:
