i had call of duty 2 and the 1.03 patch installed and working on my comp. my son got on my comp and removed it all somehow. well ive reinstalled cod 2 but when i got to reinstall the patch it says its allreasdy been installed that i need to remove it then reinstall. the wizard says its uninstalled but when i try to reinstall iget the same message. ive done a search on my comp to find all cod 2 patch 1.03 files and removed them manually but it still doesnt install. any ideas where i might find the prob. and fix it.

uninstall cod2. go to c:\program files\activision\call of duty 2 (or wherever you installed it) and delete the cod folder.

reboot and reinstall game. Before trying to patch, launch the game. Once it brings up the menu screen, look at the very bottom right hand corner. This is where the game version is listed. If it is at 1.3 then you don't need to patch. IF not, then download the patch and install.
