Over the weekend I tried to fix my dad's laptop. It had a trojan in it, and i think i got rid of it. So i gave it back to him saying it should be alright. Well he gave back to me saying that it wont connect to the internet. So i investigate and found out that the whole networking card (including the dial-up modem, wireless card, etc.) is under a code 39. I tried to unistall/reintall it back but it still hits a code 39.

Could someone please give me some advice?

Thank You.

Please go to the malware forum first to make sure you are clear. Then once you have been properly checked/cleaned, come back and we'll try to fix your problem.

Cheers.
