Hi,
Am trying to connect a HP psc 1210 all-in-one printer and keep getting the error message, 'the device setup has failed to complete'.
The computer detects a new device but can't find it. I have tried different USB cables and ports, have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times but still get the same result.
It works find as a stand alone but just won't communicate with the computer.
Any help with this would really be appreciated,

it sounds like a driver problem. i don't know what version your running but try to let the windows wizard set it up and when it asks for the driver put in the printers setup disk and select an xp or win 2000 driver. this should work if it don't then your printer is not compatible with your version of windows or you have a connection problem.
