Okay a friend of mine has recently purchased a laptop. A Dell Inspiron which came with Vista. Is there any way he can change and use XP? He probably shouldnt ever bought a laptop. He has problems using a desktop. But none of the houses printers and other computers can recognize it.

The only way he can get to use XP again is if he buys it. You cant use a current copy of XP and install it on the laptop as this would be breaking the licence terms and agreements.

Remember if you do this you will also have to buy vista if you plan on changing from XP to vista afterwards.
