Hello,

I have been reading some of your forums and decided to register and check my system. I followed Admin's recomendations found in Spyware/Adware/Viruses. I downloaded and installed Spybot S&D, Ad-aware, CW Shreeder, and AVG. I then ran each program and removed the detected problems. The AVG detected no viruses. I also downloded Hijack This. Below is the report, could you please check it and let me know it I need to remove anything.

I have 3 other computers and they all have some problems, but I wanted to check this system first. It runs better than the others. I will do one at a time. Thank you for the help.

Congratulations! Well Done! Your system is CLEAN <_<

Don't forget about SpywareBlaster (it's free for personal use).

Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
Consumes no system resources.

Download, run, check for updates, download updates, select all, protect against checked. All done. Check for updates every couple of weeks. If you have any errors running the program like a missing file see the link at the bottom of the javacool page.
Link to SpywareBlaster: http://www.geekstogo...tion=show&id=12

It's also very important to keep your system up to date to avoid unnecessary security risks. Click Here to make sure that you have the latest patches for Windows.

<_< I am stuck. Tuesday my XP ran into a netsky variant, (I think). A symantic site gave instructions to disable system restore and then go into safe mode. Now that I'm in safe mode, I'm unable to return to normal mode. I cannot undo the disabled system restore. I am unable to use a 3.5" with a fxnetsy (fix netsy), because I am not allowed to read or run anything from my 3.5" or CD drives. When I hit F8, I've tried every option, and I'm always returned to safe mode when I boot up. What can I do? Thanks for any help.
