I am getting a Directx comment saying the vinyl97.sys file is not digitally signed. This is the latest driver, a VIA AC97 codec for VT 8235, which I downloaded from the manufacturer's (VIA) site. There is at least one post on VIA's forum stating that the mfg driver is not signed and no one has responded.

Is there a digitally signed driver out there?

On most of those errors is it ok to continue anyways.

It is just saying it is not regestered with microsoft as compatable but it verry well may be.

That's what I thought. Upon attempting to run a recently installed game, it crashes upon startup. The software customer support keeps focusing on the fact that the sound driver is not digitally signed. Thanks for your feedback.
