My Freedom Anti-Virus Software keeps warning me of an infected file. I try to have it deleted, but it keeps coming back. Nothing seems to work and I can't find much info.

It says that the file lpahqm.exe is associated with W32/spybot.awj virus. Kazaa related crap I assume.

Here's my hijackthis scan results...

Roommates share my pc and there has been a bunch of gaming junk that I have tried to manage, but I'm done. Any suggestions on how to rid myself of these irritations (aside from new roommates) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Robin, I suspect My Freedom Anti-Virus is warning you an infected file in your restore point, but that is only one issue....you are also infected with a couple annoying malware programs

This is also in the wrong forum (malware forum), and you have an older version of hijackthis (up to 1.99.xxx

Disable system restore

RIGHT CLICK MY COMPUTER, choose PROPERTIES, choose SYSTEM RESTORE, uncheck MONITOR DRIVES.

Have MY FREEDOME run again.

Afterwards, get a new version of hijack and post in the malware forum
