How do I do it? I ripped DVD's and now I want to convert them from VOB to AVI.

I googled and downloaded a lot of programs, but to no avail.

Thanks.

Is it free? I don't want to pay for anything.

I downloaded it, and once I tried converting it said :

"This is a trial version, so it will print a watermark on the output screen."

What is a watermark?

Whatever it is, it doesn't sound good. I need a free program that doesn't screw you over. Thanks for trying though. Anyone else?

EWARE: free converters are usually a pain in the [bleep] to use. My own point of view... but i feel like i am not the only one that wants to spend 5 hours figuring out the audio settings and everything… you can use mp4converter.

oh, freeware costs time, besides, IMO, it's not legal to rip DVDs and it's even worse to use freeware to rip DVDs, meaning to get DVDs torn without paying anything. :whistling:

So maybe you could try his idea, yes, mp4converter
