I have a dual boot setup with ubuntu and xp on my dell m65. I had everything working fine but managed to mess something up in ubuntu so I just reinstalled it. Everything seemed to be fine, everything works in ubuntu and I can read/write to the partition with XP on it. When I try to boot to XP I get an error that hal.dll is missing or corrupt. I tried replacing it by doing it in ubuntu but I still get the same error. Any ideas?

Hello! :whistling:

Sorry about the delay in a response. I wrote a tutorial with a few ways to try fixing this on my site here.
