Part of my Hard drive broke, a piece of it broke of and no on of the plugs won't stay in its spot. I can't still get it to work If I hold it in though. Anyway what I want to know if I can by another harddrive, and copy my old hard drive onto my new one. So I don't lose any of the files on my harddrive.

Buy a new harddrive, install Windows onto the new drive, then hook up your broken drive as a slave long enough to copy your documents over to the new drive. If I understand your post and you can get the drive to work.
