I have 2,500 dollars at my disposal and I would want to try to get as many gaming servers on a server like a PowerEdge 1955. I would like to have it run smoothly and keep from people lagging. But I want to have it be basic enough to where i can run it. I am new to this and links would be help on getting it up and runing. The game perferable i want to run is Call of Duty United Offesive and have the server range from 10-20 man servers. I think this is a good build:
1st and 2nd Processors are Dual Core Intel® Xeon® 5110; 4MB Cache, 1.6GHz, 1066MHZ FSB
Ram is 4GB 667MHz (4X1GB), Dual Ranked DIMMs
Hard Drives(2) are 73GB, 3Gbps, SAS, 2.5 inch, 10K RPM Hard Drive
Thats really it i have so far.
