How would I be able to edit the text on main.swf?

SWF files are uneditable. If you got the FLA file that the SWF file was made from, you could edit that using a program like Adobe Flash CS3 Professional.

Well, first I have a question for you:

Where did you get this template? Is it copyrighted? If so, I can't help you edit it without permission from the copyright holder.

no, not copyrighted. They even say on the template

"You may edit this as much as you want but leave the copyright on at the bottom if you are not paying to get it customized professionally by the creator.

I got it from Freelayouts.com

A direct link to the template is right here.

It says on the template to use Swish 2.0 to edit it.

I don't have Swish 2.0 so can't tell you steps to edit. Take at look at: Swish Tutorials. Hopefully, you'll find something to help you.
