After advice from a British member I have posted the details from HiJack this and Uninstall as recommended in your step by step advisory Malware Advisory Section.
I followed most of the preliminary steps but could not run AVG in Safe Mode getting the response "A device attached to the system is not functioning".Tried reinstalling AVG with the same reponse.
Also, I could not initiate the Panda Scan with difficulties installing Active X Control.
I am unsure whether I need to repost my original call for help which was on June 3rd at 11:51PM and which was posted in the Software Forum.
Any guidance from here would be very much appreciated......
