Hi all, recently I downloaded an old warchess v1.1 software program. The program downloaded was the file named Warchess-dm.exe which is a download manager. After clicking it you download the rest of the program. I have removed the program just fine through add remove programs. However I cannot delete the download manager from my desktop. I get an error This program is being used by another person or program. Please close all programs that may be using this application. I have looked all over but cannot find any instances of the program running. The only thing I find is in the Properties >securities > advanced tab I find there is my accounts on my personal machine that I only I have access to on it as well as an unknown account with the number (S-1-5-21-1038878110-3810630317-212753650-1000). I have tried removing this account through securities tab but it still reappears. I have tried removing parent child relationships but that still does not fix it once I go back to the desktop to try to remove the download manager. Any help here would be appreciated. I do have the latest virus definitions from Norton and latest version and ran a virus scan without problems and it found nothing. I would like to reclaim that desktop space since I am not using that file anymore. Thank you again for your time. I am running Windows XP Pro SP 2 for the OS.
