AZESEARCH will not let me install SB, AD-aware

How can I get started removing this problem? It gives me some sort of error message(.ink or .lnk) when trying to start the install. Thanks for any help.

Found this advice on another forum:

"Boot your computer into Safe Mode and take the following steps:
1. Locate the file DOWNLOAD.EXE and rename it to DOWNLOAD.JNK
2. Locate the file AZESEARCH.DLL and rename it to AZESEARCH.JNK
3. Search the registry for references to AZESEARCH.DLL and to
DOWNLOAD.EXE and delete them".

Its a shareware but you get full use of it when you first use it...

pretty sure that is a spin off of Giant Antispy, which is now MS Antispy.

Giant licensed their software to Sunbelt, then sold it to MS.... some sort of big too-doo over it couple months ago...what I am saying is that MS Antispy should get it too,

I posted the HJT log in malware after I did some deleting work but have had NO reply at all. I'm not sure I got all of it, but at least the IE browser was working when I left it and I at least downloaded spybot and adaware to her system for her. What a pain all of that was!!
