This problem started last night when I finally decided to upgrade to SP2 on my machine. Needless to say, the install will not complete and my computer now keeps shutting off with this generic host process error..Even though the SP2 install doesnt finish, its still showing up in my add/remove programs and will not uninstall completely because I recieve the same error. It has taken me since 9pm et to be able to post this without my computer giving the error, going to blue screen and restarting. Im begging for help, someone, anyone. Ive done some research, I downloaded a supposed hotfix from windows but it didnt work and I also turned off automatic updates like some sites said to. Nothing is working. *cries*
