Did your new drive come with a software disk? If it did, just put the disk in the drive with both hard drives connected, the new one in the slave position and follow the instructions on the CD.

If it didn't, come back here and someone will try to help you again.

Hi bloodb, maybe you could be a little more specific. Can you please tell us:

1) Are you doing this all on the one computer?
2) By data, do you mean just files, or everything - operating system and all?
3) Your final scenario - do you wish to end up with just one 250gig hdd in your system (i.e.replace)? Or add it to have two?

Anything else you think might be helpful so we can give you the exact answer/s you need.

p.s. please don't write everything in capitals - it's harder to read, and when online it signifies you are yelling.

Cheers
