I just moved my 40gb harddrive data usind hdclone to my 250gb but now my 250gb is saying total size 37.0gb free 7.00gb what do i do

You 'moved' your 40GB hard drive? Was it a partition or another hdd is your pc?

i just move the hard drive data to a another harddrive not the partition was i suppose too move the partition too

No i was just trying to establish if it was a partition or a entirely separate drive. Did the '40GB hdd' have your current OS on it?
