My television (a sony trinitron XBR) has a bad pincushion view on it...like the middle is straight, but the sides curve away...
how can I fix this? would it be cheaper to buy a new one?

Hi there

Re. your topic being in the wrong place...I don't think we have a right place for it on this site!

However, I would recommend that you visit Sony's website. Look in their support section, it's actually quite useful (no really, it is). It's quite possible that the problem is something that can be easily corrected simply by adjusting some of the settings. Unfortunately, having not a clue about TVs myself, I can't tell you which settings or even if I am right about it being easily fixable....

No worries. Don't hesitate to come back & bug us again when you have a leaky roof, a blown head gasket or a slightly disturbing rash in an embarrassing place :whistling:
