The IP 209.85.84.156 keeps trying to connect to my computer through port 80.

I have scanned for spyware and adaware etc. and nothing comes up.

I used peer guardian to monitor it and it tells me its related to "Direct Information FZC."

I've also realized that this IP does not connect with specific sites and will not connect unless I have opened internet explorer already (it does not start trying to connect until I have logged on and ran internet explorer, but it still tries to connect when I close internet explorer)

Do I need to do a HJT log or am I just worrying over something that isn't a big deal? :whistling:

I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong area, I just sort of guessed this one becasue it had to do with internet explorer. Thank you for your help in advance!

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
