Hello, I have a quick question. My wife bought me a Acer Aspire 3100-1718 Laptop, and it came loaded with windows home basic. I have a new in box copy of XP Pro. I was wondering how hard would it be to wipe vista out and reload the laptop with XP Pro? How hard would it be to get the drivers for the acer? I contacted acer and they were not to much help. If anyone has any ideas or seggestion please let me know.

Thank you.

As long as you have a XP pro cd, it should be easy. Copy/ save all your data.

ACER DRIVERS are here.
