Alright, I feel like a dirtbag posting here after not being here so long, but I guess nobody has ever responded to my hijackThis log post, so oh well....


Anyways,
Problem #1
I am posting from another computer in my house that is working fine. It is my other computer that has the problems. I have a Wireless Optical Mouse that is made by Microsoft and it has worked for me for about a year now. Just this morning I tried to move the mouse and it wouldn't register. Both the Mouse reciever and the mouse had their lights on and it looked like they were working, but just no signal. It isn't a problem with the batteries either because I just switched them. I looked in control panel in the mouse section and my mouse shows up and it says it is working properly, but its not really.

Problem #2
Whenever my computer goes into sleep mode or standby, my monitor goes into powersave mode. Pretty normal. The problem is that when I hit a button on my keyboard I can hear my computer boot back up, but my monitor never does anything. If I turn it off and then back on it just reenters powersave mode.

Right now I am running a SpyBlaster and LavaSoft, but I will try and post a hijackthis log as soon as I can. It might be a little hard without a mouse, but I will try. Thanks in advance!

Okay, if it doesn't work, throw it. My mouse is now working, so I no longer need help on problem #1. All I ended up doing was holding in the connect button while I took out the batteries and still holding it in while I put the batteries back in. Don't ask why or how this works, but from now on you guys can just call me, *cough* "The Stud".

Anyways, any solution to problem #2?
