Hi,
I was wondering if someone could help. I've a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop and i've never had any problems before but i think i may have a virus. It's with explorer, it keeps freezing and i have to close it via the task manager. Does anybody know what it might be and how i might fix it? Stupidly, i'm barely protected at all. I have AVG free but this isn't picking up anything wrong. Could anybody recommend some stuff i can download for free to cover me?

Thanks in advance.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
