Hi, I've built my own system, which is a P4 2.2gig, 712mg ram. Installed is Windows XP home with SP2. Normally it works great, BUT I recently bought a Dell 940A all in one printer, I can get it to work but with it connected the computer will not boot-up. I disconnect the USB cable to the printer and the computer boots up

Check yo be sure the USB cables are connected to your motherboard properly. Also, try other USB ports.
