error disabling connection

I cannot disable my wireless internet connection it says
Error Disabling Connection- It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection may have one or more protocals that do not support Plug-and-Play" or it may have been initiated by another user or the system

also the computer is slower when booting up it takes long to find the linksys wireless usb adapter

and in cannot enable my nic card it says connection failed


also when copying files to other computers it takes a very long time and it seems to get stuck on a file. the minutes go up. and it does nothing
