I have an Emachine and I am trying to install a wireless network card. I popped the card in before I intalled the software (didn't read the directions!!!), and now when I start up I get stuck on a screen the tells me that Windows has initialized the device, and to go to my control panel for options, however it will not let me advance to windows, it is totally frozen up. I called the company that made the adapter card and they told me to call emachines because I had a driver problem. Does anybody know how I can get my computer to advance past the error screen??? Thank you
