Itunes Problems

I've had my Ipod-Itunes for about 6 months now, this morning i decided to buy another song, so i did. When i went to sync my ipod's music an error appeared "The software needed to communicate with your Ipod has been installed incorrectly please reinstall Itunes."

So i Redownloaded it, and attempted to run the install. When i tried to begin i got an error reading "There is an error with the windows installer package. A script required for this install to complete did not run. Contact your support personal or package vendor."

Any help? :whistling:
