You have the nVidia drivers installed?
It should work transparently. Maybe a bad DVI to VGA convertor?

I have the latest drivers. I'll test the connector. That is the only thing I can think of as well. Thanks

Does it matter if I have a 4x AGP slot with an 8X card? The box actually reads 4X/8X.

No. They're perfectly compatible. If you had an 8X slot it may be 2-3% faster.

Still no luck at this point. I have noticed when the Geforce 4 (Dual) card is in, the CPU is running at 100%, when the original Geforce 2 card is in, the CPU is running between 5% and 27% when running the exact same programs. My card is XP compatible but where can I find out if it is compatible with the mobo? I have a Dell Dimension 8200.

Could be a driver problem. Try removing all traces of old drivers using Driver Cleaner: http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/
When finished install the latest driver from nVidia.com
