Adobe Photoshop CS v.8.0 on a windows XP Dell Dimension E510.

The only recent thing I've done was to update my Quicktime, suddenly when I try to open Photoshop (which i need to use daily for my job) it seems like it's going to load, and then freezes at the end and a white box shows up.

I came across something telling me to press SHIFT+CTRL+ALT as soon as it loads to delete the preferences, but that did not work.

Then read to go directly into: C:\Documents And Settings\YOURUSERNAME\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop\VERSIONNUMBER\Adobe Photoshop VERSIONNUMBER Settings\ to delete the preferences, bu thtat didn't seem to work either. Now the Adobe Photoshop CS Prefs.psp in that folder says 0KB ... not sure if that means anything.

ALSO.... Image Ready is working fine. :whistling:

Any insight would be so greatly appreciated.
