When I apply a pattern color to a column of cells, the sheet rows and column dividers (the nearly transparent lines that display in all new worksheets ... I'm not talking about gridlines) disappear. It looks like all the data is in one column in one cell.

Can someone tell me how to apply a color without losing my row/column lines? Thanks!

What you are talking about are the Gridlines, I cannot find a way to make them appear after coloring a column or row of cells. The only way is to place a border round the cells.
